YHC was at work late last night, fretting about the theme of today’s workout. He felt he needed some sort of well-planned and themed production after @Extractor’s masterpiece from last week. While eating dinner he saw a commercial for the upcoming #Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway and had his inspiration. Apparently, it is a big deal to make left and right turns now at the track. The goal was to explore a different area of Afton and use something not exactly shaped like an oval.

Disclaimer was given and then we were off. Amusing moment for YHC when he realizes his own insurance agent is in the pax this morning, maybe he should have done a better disclaimer…

Warm-up:

• SSH IC x 20
• Cotton pickers IC x 10
• Imperial storm troopers IC x 10
• Arm circles, it’s not going to be a leg day

In a tribute to @Big Blue, we paid the man in and out with 5 burpees at every stop today.

Mosey to the bleachers

• Peter parker up and down the bleachers, be careful they are #slippy
• 20 dips
• Repeato

Long indian run to the Roval, with the pax at the back of the line doing a burpee penalty. Apparently we have some real runners in this group, next time we will Indian sprint.

Pause at the gazebo and partner up. Partner one does the exercise while partner two runs the Roval around the green space. YHC is calling it a roval because it wasn’t quite an oval and was trying to stick with the theme.

• 200 merkins
• 300 dips
• 400 air squats (ish)

It took us a little more time to get that far from home base so we cut it off and headed back for Mary.

Mary:

• 1 minute plank
• Crunchy frog IC x 14
• Pretzel crunch IC x 10
• Low flutter IC x 10
• Some stretching, yes we stretched.

• Lots of charity events going on now and upcoming, check Slack for details. Consider doing the water jug workout tomorrow, or at least go drink for Habitat for Humanity on 10/11.
