As I stepped out my front door this morning I was met with a wall of hot humid air that felt more like 5:15 PM, not AM. Fortunately a bunch of crazy dudes also decided there was no turning back to the AC, at least for the next hour. Today we ventured beyond the friendly confines of Abbington into the mean dog poop filled streets of Magnolia Springs . . . all runners made it out alive.

The Thang:

You guessed it, 45 minutes of running! We ran a new 1.3 mile loop, left turns only so the rednecks could stay on the course.Scooter and Minnow set the inaugural CR, but it seems to be one that many of us could challenge with a few more miles of training and the help of Jeff Gillooly.
