Getting Up & Working Out Is a Good Way to Know Some Stuff
All East Charlotte BackblastsFebruary 27th, 2018
You can’t know everything. Even after you die, you still won’t know everything. However, you can know some stuff. You should start local. Get to know East CLT. How should you go about getting to know East CLT? Get up at 5a and go to the Simmons YMCA, gather with some dudes at 5:30a, and go on a jog-a-bout ’round the ECLT area. You’ll discover things that you never noticed before. You’ll learn about The New American Welcome Center. You’ll meet Larry and drink coffee. Etc.
“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life—and travel—leaves marks on you.” – Anthony Bourdain

Here are some more Anthony Bourdain statements:
“I don’t have to agree with you to like you or respect you.”
“Vegetarians, and their Hezbollah-like splinter faction, the vegans … are the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit.”
“If you’re twenty-two, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel – as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them – wherever you go.”
“Wisdom…is realizing how small I am, and unwise, and how far I have yet to go.”
