Celebrating 4 years…part 2

All Comanche Backblasts

February 20th, 2018 By Forgotten Jelly

12 men came together on this slightly wet morning to see what I had in store. YHC stole this Q from Hammer because I told him he had to give it up. It was actually pretty easy. Kind of a pushover. He tried to bring the mumblechatter, but that didn’t quite work out. Oh well.

Warm-Up
Sizzlean thought he’d get a lead on us and started running while I gave the disclaimer. So, I chose to run in the other direction.
– SSH x 10
– Cotton Pickers x 10
– IST x 10

The Thang
Mosey to the cinderblocks for three rounds of the following:
– Curls x 15
– Chest press x 15
– Triceps Extension x 15
– Pullover x 15

Put back the cinderblocks and head to the playground for five rounds of the following:
– Burpee pullups x 5
– Dips x 10
– WWII situps x 20

I had to explain to the pax that they needed to do burpee pull-ups, as in one burpee immediately followed by a pull-up, NOT five burpees followed by five pull-ups. Apparently Robins Nest has some trouble with this part. I’m pretty sure he got it down by the end of 5 rounds.

Mosey to the parking lot for some zigzag running. I think Hammer didn’t like this part. I definitely heard some mumblechatter out of him.

And it was time for some Jack Webbs. We went up the ladder from 1 to 10. This was followed by a few mary exercises (LBCs and Pretzel Crunch) and then we came down the ladder. I threw in some LBCs instead of a 10-count on the way down.

Mary
– Homer to Marge led by Robins Nest
– Airborne Mindbender led by YHC

Moleskin
– Thanks to everyone for coming out to help me celebrate 4 years with F3. My fitness level has improved tremendously these past 4 years and I now have lifelong friends I know I can rely on.
– For those of you newer to F3, keep posting. It is truly a life-changing experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. If you haven’t been out in a while, come back. You know where we are.
