Something new anniversary Q
All The Precinct BackblastsJanuary 4th, 2018
Five men met 23 degrees this morning and beat it. Two years ago YHC went to my first F3 workout and loved the new kind of exercise in the outdoors with a group of guys supporting each other and workouts designed to individual taste by the Qs. So YHC tried to recreate that today….and simply keep warm.
I resolved to keep the PAX moving so we began 2.25 mile loop out Katlyn to Prosperity, left to Fairlea, to the Greenway, across Saxonbury to the next road, up to Kent Village, back to Saxonbury, through the tennis courts and gun range, up Raddington, then back to Check-in. We stopped many times along the way for a variety of exercises, many of them new weird ones and based around the number 23 as a nose thumb to the temperature. Here they are….
- Warm-ups with SSH, Storm Troopers, Cotton Pickers, and Merkins on Trehurst.
- Dips on the steel railing on Prosperity.
- Hand release and hand clap Merkins (a PAX favorite, I could tell) at the bottom of Fairlea.
- Muscle ups on the new bridge on the Greenway. LBCs
- One armed push-ups (sort of) on the Greenway.
- Slow Merkins on the Greenway. Crunchy LBCs
- 11 1/2 Burpees and planking in Man Down’s driveway
- Decline Merkins with our feet on the tennis nets.
- One armed pull-ups (sort of) at the gun range.
- 11 1/2 Yorpies at the top of Raddington. Pretzel crunches.
It actually was a nice morning for a boot camp. We enjoyed the moonlight on the Greenway and an owl talking to us. Hotwheels toughed it out with some kind of pain in his side…he even pre-ran with YHC for a couple miles. Hope you feel better. Thanks guys for the workout and chatter. I’ve really enjoyed my two years with F3… I wish more guys would commit to a free supportive and fun workout and environment.
No announcements. We prayed for Hotwheels, a sick Uncle of mine, and protection from the enemy as Skipper and I prepare for our mission trip leaving two weeks from today.
Here is my historical BB….I kept coming back even though I went home dizzy and couldn’t tie my shoes for a few days.
