The cold gave us a break this morning. Surprised Grover had a shirt on. Good chatter throughout the workout. Q wanted to keep group together since it is probably his last Q for a while. Bunny Hops were once again a hit. Few grumbles were heard after getting backs wet on pavement during WWII’s. Get over it, this is F3 not Crossfit, right Phidip? The best chatter of the AM was at coffeeteria when Catfish was singing his praises of the new tax bill only to be interrupted and berated by a Starbucks barrista who had a different point of view. She quickly whipped out a 20 page article to back up her opinion. Catfish graciously offered to have a mature discussion with her to no avail. Hence our society.
These last two years of my life, I have spent more time with my F3 brothers than most people besides my own family. These last two years, I have learned how to be disciplined physically, which, in turn, led to me being more spiritually disciplined. This spiritual discipine opened my eyes to a call to missions in Brazil which has completely changed the course of my life. Brothers, I say this to let you know that you are one of the reasons that my life will never be the same. God has used each of you through this free workout group that many people still haven’t even heard of to change a life. In this case the life was mine, and as a result my family has been changed. As a result of my family being changed, countless Quilombolas in Brazil over the next number of years will hear the gospel and their lives will be forever changed. I say all this to say “Thank You”. Your friendship is irreplaceable. The memories will be fond ones for years to come. I’ll be back every once in a while. Sorry this BB was so long, but I had to get that off my chest.
Thanks F3 brothers, see you in the gloom in a few months.
