7 true pioneers voyaged into the gloomy unknown and returned better men.  The search for the source of the Nile, the hunt for El Dorado, the quest for the Fountain of Youth, and Louis and Clark themselves have nothing on this Magnificent Seven.

Mosey to Post Office

Mosey to McGee Park, take a hard left, and run to the end of the new Greenway extension.  After going up and down hills, through tunnels, and through the forest, we get to…not a magnificent waterfall, not a beautiful park, and not even an exit onto another street, but a 10 foot x 10 foot cul de sac in the middle of nowhere.  In the midst of our joy of discovery, we did 20 merkins before heading back the way we had come back to the AO.

Mary:
None.  We used all our time running.

Moleskin:

• Q (Skinner) was highly embarrassed by arriving 1 minute late rather than his usual 1 minute before.  The Pax was most gracious with no real ridicule given.
• At the top of the hill to McGee, Grover (yes! Grover!) asked if we were going all the way to the end of the new part and then looked a little concerned when Q said we were.  The Pax was shocked.
• Great conversation and fellowship this morning as we covered around 4 1/2 miles at a comfortable 9-minute mile pace.
• We arrived back at AO 2 minutes late, but no one complained to Q because they are real men who realized the significance of the great journey they had just undertaken together.
