A PAX of 18 wandered into the gloom after a night of heavy rain.  The air would soon feel like peanut butter traveling in and out of the lungs as heart rates began to rise and sweat glands worked overtime.  But first there was a shovel flag, disclaimer and a mosey to the middle parking lot of the middle school for…

WARMARAMA:

Partner up for…

THE THANG:

Partner 1 does Clock Merkins on the curb as Partner 2 becomes the timer running around the bottom part of the MS parking lot and then switch.  3 rounds.

Indian Run to the bus parking lot and partner back up for some suicide partner sprints across lot.  Probably not YHC’s best instructions ever, but the brilliance of the PAX showed through and figured it out.

Mosey to the rail and partner up again for 3 rounds of Partner 1 serving as the timer and run to the playground for 15 Pull Ups while Partner 2 rotates through 5 reps each of Dips, Incline Merkins and Decline Merkins until Partner 1 returns to switch.

Mosey to near sidewalk beside playground and find some curb for Rocky Balboas while 3 men at at time ran to do 3 Pull Ups and joined the line on the opposite side.  The next in line moved to Pull Ups as someone left the playground until all had a turn.

Mosey back for some suicide partner sprints with backwards running.  It was even more confusing this time.  #Qfail

THE DAY BEFORE ELVIS DIED MOLESKIN:

1. Great work today men!  The original plan had some hill work, but as the ran poured down last night YHC thought better of it.  It was either this or Pull-Up-Palooza (so expect that in Sept).

4. YHC made the mistake of stopping during the Rocky Balboas and found it extremely difficult to restart.

6. And for all the “hates” Elvis was a guy who died before you were born and had a pretty decent singing career.  He died at the age of 42 on Aug 16, 1977 and YHC would highly recommend to all the PAX on the 40th anniversary of YHC’s mom crying listening to this… In The Ghetto
