The title pretty much sums up what happens when YHC tries to take us somewhere new or where I’ve never run…even if I’ve driven it. However, @Gentle Grizzly always studies the routes carefully just in case.. THIRTEEN men came out this morning to cooler temps and lower humidity for a slightly longer than usual run that also took us up Senator Royall. YHC saw a hybrid safety/prankster @Skipper as he made sure I knew the pax count at the beginning of the run (thanks brother) but also, upon realizing that @Landlord cannot resist chasing segments (real or imaginary), would randomly say there’s a segment along the path, which would prompt @Landlord to immediately speed up. @Skipper admitted to me that he has no idea where the segments really are… YHC had to challenge @Laser and make him run more mileage since 4ish miles are too easy for him now. @Dingo gave YHC some pointers on how he’s so fast running downhill. I’m sure the rest of the pax laughed and had interesting conversations that I was not a part of.
