Buckets O’ Fun
All All MECA BackblastsSeptember 28th, 2016
So, a few months ago, I decided to buy a bunch of old pickle buckets from Firehouse Subs to use for a Q. What I soon learned was that, the smell of pickle does not quickly dissipate from the buckets and pickle is a very strong smell when in a closed car or garage. Now that the buckets are slowly ceasing to punish me with their smell, I have decided to use the buckets to punish the rest of the PAX.
Start with a Mosey around the parking lots with butt-kickers, skips high knees, side straddles. Circle up for:
SSH – 15IC
Windmills (there was a stiff breeze blowing this morning) – 10 IC
IST – 10 IC
Tempo Merkins – 10 IC
Plank Jacks – 10 IC
Mosey to start to Greenway entrance. The Thang:
Explain that there are buckets placed at the entrance to the school, on the first bridge on the Greenway and near the rock at the Middle School. Break into 3 groups. Run to a bucket, pull an exercise out of the bucket, perform, run back to Greenway and perform exercise with a rock. Run to next bucket and continue for roughly 30 minutes.

Great workout @Astrovan. I love the ones that involve a lot of running. Good mixup of different kinds of exercises too. I had never even heard of Donkey Kicks before!
@Strechy @Sourdough great job team! We got through 2 1/3 laps. Not bad.
I think the Mary exercise you’re missing is the Dying Cockroach-Sugar.
I hope to see a good showing for my Q Thursday. (Hint, there will be a lot of running)
Until then…
Thanks. I like to keep things moving. Wish I could be there tomorrow. Good luck!
Sad that I missed this one, sounds like a lot of fun, minus the running of course 🙂
Next time. Hope you are sleeping better.
Bagheera, if you like running, you need to drag your Schitzel dad Dad out to RD Cruise on Wednesdays. I believe you will get your wish.
Nice Q, Asro Van, hope to see you do it again!
Palin, Sugar, Milkbone, Verona- good work, fast group, thanks for the push!
Until next time.
Thanks. I’ll be back. Enjoy the RS Pax!
