All All MECA Backblasts

September 23rd, 2016 By Sparknut

70 deg, perfect weather for the RS BB introduction to BLIMPS. I knew couldn’t get close to matching Sugar’s creativity yesterday, so YHC decided to offer simple torture. Disclaimer…

MOLESKIN

  1. Thanks for following me this morning for my second BB VQ even though I couldn’t match yesterday’s performance by Sugar. I won’t soon forget carrying Web Crawler across the bridge 2x. We all say it and it’s always true – I would never do this stuff without you men. I appreciate the encouragement and the sharpening I receive through my association with you and F3. We are getting stronger in many ways!
  2. Bagheera nice job on your first BB!
  3. Phantom good to see you out regularly. Be careful, we might get used to having you around! And I know we’d all like to get an update on how you’re doing. Chime in.
  4. I’ve got to be more careful about giving Milkbone carte blanche picking exercises and reps. Dang forearm curls!
  5. Whatley good to have you back out the BB
  6. Sugar, Schnitzel, Marie Calendar stay crusty you bunch or old farts. I appreciate your example.
  7. Let your light shine men!

-Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

“Wealth consist not of having great possessions, but in having few wants.”  -Epictetus

Hope you got your money’s worth!

  1. I couldn’t find the fishbone BB from yesterday, so good job by all at the fishbone and good turn out. I think it was 6, but my mind blanked out during the forearm curls, so not quite sure.

  2. It’s slowly coming back to me. I remember a visit from AstroVan and something about Bobby Boucher!

  3. I had the lightest kettle bell and still couldn’t keep up! I think 20lbs is about my limit. Of course, with body wight ratios and age ratios and all that…maybe I didn’t do so bad. I should work out an equation for how well I did compared to you all (of course, I’d have to find out your weights first 🙂 I could get extra credit in math class. Great Q @Sparknut, not a good one for my first time out; you’ve soured me on ever coming back!

@Whatley @Milkbone @Sparknut your arm strength with those 25-35lbs bells is amazing.

My shoulders hurt…and my quads, and abs, and biceps and…

    It’s all good.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  4. @Sparknut, nice Q. Who you calling old?
    @MC, thanks for bringing the KB. I think Sparknut’s spare/lighter KB was a 50lb-er!

  5. One of the old guys will confirm- yes, it was six for Fishbone on Wednesday: MC, Sugar, Waterboy, Sparknut, Milkbone, and Astro Van. Ties our record for the most on a Wednesday!

Thanks for the Q, Sparknut, miserable as ever. As I said, I have come to hate this one more than Fishbone. Who would think a measly 30 lbs would add so much hurt to the whole affair?

    Until next time.
