LOOKING FOR COPPERHEADS

All All MECA Backblasts

September 15th, 2016 By Indiana

11 pax gathered on a relatively nice morning to get a beat down and look for copperheads in the dark.
Mosey to parking lot behind clinic near ASEC, not sure what it really is as Q hasn’t paid attention.
Warm-o-rama:
SSH x 15 IC
IST x 15 IC
Mountain Climbers x 15 IC
Mosey back to ASEC
Pax helped roll out all 5 large tires.
The THANG: Split into 5 groups
Descending ladder by 2 each time you get around to station again
Station 1: Tire Flips (start w/4, 2 the next time, 4 next time, etc.)
Station 2: Brazilians x 20 IC (picnic area)
Station 3: Pull-ups x 10
While running through woods to upper parking lot for man-makers look for copperheads
Station 4: True Man-makers plus skull crushers with rock x 10
Station 5: Merkins x 20  (at speed bumps near ASEC entrance)
Rinse and repeat dropping 2 reps each time
Mary:
LBC’s x 30, keep feet off ground and begin LBC’s w/ flutter kicks for 20 more
KGB’s x 30 IC
Homer to Marge, not sure how many or long but pax seemed to be grunting, including QIC
Cobra
Child’s pose
Moleskin:
Good effort by all today, some chatter early on about QIC leaving his initial group but QIC was just wanting to be sure all PAX were completing exercises as instructed and upon observation they were.  This especially includes BD as his form/technique on all were impeccable!  I imagine most pax made it down to the 12-14 range on brazilians and merkins and the 2-6 range on pull-ups and man-makers.  There seemed to be some PAX concerned with copperhead sightings around the mulch piles from pull-up station to man-maker station but QIC didn’t see any but then again it was dark, glad no one got bitten.
Don’t forget F2 at Cabarrus Brewery tonight beginning around 8pm but I’m sure some will show up earlier to make sure the beer tastes okay for the rest of the pax!
Praise for my mother-in-laws surgery as all went well and she gets to head home today after some rehab.
Pleasure to lead again and hope you all enjoyed.
