The Devil’s Pitchfork

All All MECA Backblasts

June 29th, 2016 By SoloCup

14 Men stepped into the Gloom looking for something stupid to do…we found it.  The Preblast originally called this workout The Devil’s Trident, we went ahead and changed it to The Devil’s Pitchfork Instead.

No Disclaimer and a Half-ass description of what was planned were given.

  1. Thanks for letting me lead and for being flexible with the location change.

  2. Great run, Solo. We did about 2 and 2/3 laps, 5.3 miles because Mags insisted on some extra credit on one of the off-course cul-de-sacs. My Garmin says 672 feet in elevation gain today, which is slightly – slightly – above average for a BRR leg. Time to get busy, fellas…

  3. That was tough! I ran this neighborhood a few weeks ago (think I saw Klump heading to work?), but I did the flatter parts, too. Great route, Solo Cup! I got 4.42 miles total (if you trust MapMyRun on my phone), under 8.5 min/mile for the first three. Credit the downhill sections!

  4. That sucked but I will return again. Nice lead and change. #DevilsPitchfork

  5. Thanks for the lead @Solocup. Great route. This course allowed the fast guys to run on at their pace and not have to come back to pick up the six.
