My first Tradition Q since I started teaching back in August and OH how I missed Tradition. Between the spill Maximus took on the mosey to the harrassment the PAX sent my way for talking about being “in my duty position” it was a great reminder of why I love F3.

In AZ when a teacher was assigned to the bus lot or the lunch room that was there “duty”. Apparently that is not the case here in NC since I started a conversation with Mr. Belding (The assistant principal at my school) about a dream I had: “So I had a dream last night that I was in my duty position-” Belding and PAX: “Your WHAT??? We don’t need to be hearing about that R2D2, that stays in the bathroom”. The conversation fell apart after that.

Warm up:

Mosey around parking lot (Dutch is refusing to listen to his doctor and ran it with us since,as we all know, doctors don’t know nothin’)

Side Straddle hop
Imperial storm trooper
Cotton picker (I may have confused these two a little bit but the pax set me straight)
Windmill
Spiderman walk/stretch to the bricks

The thang:
Curl and Merkin Ladder starting at 20 and 2 going down to 6 and 14

Mosey to picnic tables
Dips in sets of 5
–Both feet down
–Left foot raised
–Right food raised
–Both Feet raised (Maximus naturally had issues with the concept of the last set. I just wanted to make sure they were paying attention)
Repeato three times

Return to the bricks by way of lunges or bear crawls, dealers choice
Chest press and skull crush Ladder, 20-2
20 sit ups
Mosey around parking lot with some grapevine mixed in
Overhead press and merkin ladder 20-2

Random sets of squats were thrown in as well throughout the work out.

Return the bricks and mosey to the starting point for some mary

Mary:
Mason twist X 15
The W X 20
Pretzel Stick crunches X 10 each side (thank you Mr. Belding)
Low Flutter X 20
Rosalita X 15
Sit ups X 20
20 merkins
Belly button suck ups (No idea what they are called)

A great beatdown and a great start to a summer of F3 at Tradition.
