Roadkill
All All MECA BackblastsApril 6th, 2016
3 men rolled out of their fartsacks, ignoring the unusually cold weather and got in some mileage.
The thang:
Head down Main St — left on Roberta — right on Parallel — left on School — right on Morris — right on Morehead — right on Plaza — left on School — left on Parallel — right on Morehead — right on Autumn — left on Patricia — left on Ridge — right on Morehead — right on Oakside — right on Patricia ***lookout for car!!***– left on Autumn — left on Parallel — left on Roberta — right on Main St and back to home base.
MapMyRun said 5.18 miles – but with Minnow and Magnificent leading the way and kindly circling back, they logged probably 5.75. Good pace today!
Moleskin:
1. Thanks, guys. Nice we started and ended on time – trying to be better!
2. Glad Minnow and Magnificent are okay – I don’t think that driver had had their morning coffee when they ran you guys off the road – that was too close for comfort.
3. Respect for Minnow getting in 4 miles pre-run…that made nearly 10 on the morning.
4. Does anyone know if we can attach an image to these posts? I know you can add a link or add image if it’s linked to a url, but just an image from a phone or something – would be easier to post an image of the MapMyRun route than typing out all the streets…

Update – posted map of run on Twitter – that will have to suffice if can’t add images here.
Sundial … that was a nice, quite, lightly traveled, F2 friendly route that stayed off of Highway 49 … you’d think there would be no traffic issues … wrong … just shows you that even with headlamp and reflective vest, you always need to run defensively
Magnificent … I want to see a sub 19 from you on Sat
Glad I wasn’t out there this morning. They would have needed more than their morning coffee after I was done…
@Minnow- I agree, and Ridge had an unexpected nice gradual incline. May run that one again soon.
@SoloCup- the drivers of Harrisburg have it out for you…what was it that person threw at you on Hickory Ridge?!
Maybe we ought to go off-road to avoid these incidents, and get some hill work in too … Mt Trashmore grows ever taller between Harrisburg and the speedway
@Sundial – You can’t post images anymore. Thanks to all the cropped images @SoloCup used to post (although they were quite good), the admins shut off the functionality.
@Magnificent – I heard the rumors of you and Saturday’s 5k as well. How about you pace is the first 3.0 miles. Then we’ll see who’s got any left the last 0.1.
@Minnow Rocky River Crossing has a nice trail through the woods (along Rocky River) but it’s very short.
@BBQ thanks for letting me know
I’ve been known to steal an image or two…#GotSuedByGettyImages
