Let’s call it “Spettle”
All All MECA BackblastsMarch 14th, 2016
The Pax were 11 strong for a mettle workout that brought some speed to the game.
The Thang:
Mosey one loop around the park sidewalk.
COP:
SSH x 20
Windmill x 15
Three AMRAPs (in this case “as many rounds as possible”)
1. 10 minutes non-stop: Kettlebell squat thrusts x 10 reps, run to playground for 5 pullups. Add 1 additional rep to each exercise for each round.
2. 10 minutes non-stop: Gobble squats x 5, run down the stairs to the pool for 5 merkins. Add 1 additional rep to each exercise for each round.
3. 4 minutes non-stop: DB rows x 5 per arm, sprint to end of parking lot and back. Repeato for duration of 4 minutes. Add 1 additional rep to each exercise for each round.
25 kettlebell swings and 20 gobble squats in between AMRAPs #1 and #2
MARY:
Mason twist x 15
Crunchy frog x 15
Low flutter x 15
The W x 15
The moleskin:
1. Awesome showing this morning by the Pax. Great to be 11 strong for some mettle. YHC thanks Thorn and Slappy for the peer pressure to Q this morning. Let’s get some more to show up and put some weights to our often called “Highlands Run Club”!
2. T-claps to FNG Sam for coming out and putting out a great effort. Hope he posts again soon.
3. Shazam and Winnebago put on a pullup and squat thrust show that first AMRAP. Google was unstoppable during AMRAP #2 and Chowder showed in #3 that it paid to have a 25 lb weight late in the workout!
4. T-claps to everyone for the push. That was painful, at least to YHC. Tough to be 7 ft tall, Mini Pearl, on squat days.
Have a great day.

My first F3 workout every was delivered by Stoli. So, nice surprise to see my first Mettle (2nd F3 KB workout ever) was Q’d by you.
FNG Sam was beat at the end, but plans to post to Highlands again soon, possibly tomorrow.
This was the first time that I was the first one at a beatdown… was starting to 2nd guess if I went to the right place…. but then everyone started pouring in!
Great workout!
Great Q @Stoli Thanks of stepping up and leading Mettle.
