For Chicken Little

9 men showed up in a not so toast gloom to honor a pax gone far too soon.  Wyatt Hatcher, aka F3 Chicken Little, took his own life late last week.  I did not know him well at all, only doing a GoRuck event with him, but to a man, he was an impressive dude – physically and mentally.  A fun dude to be around who was always looking out for others.  YHC was looking for a workout to honor him and had stupid ideas about chicken themed workouts, but thought better of it and since the man was a Marine, the Marsoc Short Card it was.

We broke it up into sections to encourage no OYO and staying together with laps inbetween.  We moseyed to the other side of the school for the pull ups portion.

COT:  Prayers for CL’s souls and for all close to him.  Prayers for Pox and family as they deal with Covid.  Some good discussion about mental health from the pax, thank you for sharing.  There is a convergence at Stumpy Creek Park in Mooresville at 7am on Saturday, I’m going to try to attend.

Moleskin:  As mentioned, I didn’t know the man well, only doing the GR event.  He did become something of a mascot during the event as we stopped by his house to relieve ourselves.  Even the women at the event were calling him Chicken Little, pretty funny.  You knew he was a really solid dude.  RIP my man, you are missed.
