1. For those keeping score at home, that’s 5 miles and 500 reps in 55 minutes. I think the term I heard this morning was “aggressive” but at least five finished on time (Clueless and TBone leading the pack, as well as Kojak, Deadhead and Dr. Lecter….sound off if I missed anyone). Probably would have been two more but Tumbler took a…um…pitstop, and Exit wisely took it easy while he nursed a foot injury.

2. Wexler was close behind, I believe finishing the last half-mile as he sprinted into COT just in time. For the record, Tumbler stayed overtime to finish. The rest of us varied, but I believe everyone got through at least the 2 mile run, which is strong.

3. Hoping CPAP’s hip feels better. Powered through some pain, but kept moving.

4. Thanks to DT for taking us out in COT.

5. Always great to see another clydesdale out there killing it. Somewhere deep inside, Honey Do is actually a runner. Great effort as he leads up to his first(?) half marathon. Tried to keep up with him and JD on that last mile run. JD noted how easy it would have been to walk a few times, but they kept each other going. Helped me as well – kept them in sight and as long as they were running, so was I. That’s how you keep each other accountable!

6. We learned at coffee that JD can play the rickety ‘ole man when he wants to, but we know he’s as spry and has as much energy as anyone out there. Also has his sights set on his first Goruck challenge.

7. From the Office of the President: Harrisburg 5k on May 15th, and strong work on Q sign-ups. Only a few slots open in May. June and July dates have been added to SUG as well, so get ’em while they’re hot!

8. Great work by the HEC crew, with Solo Cup, Deadhead, Banjo Boy and Peppa all hitting double-digit losses so far as we enter the 4th of 6 weeks.

Cheers!
