  • When: 03/03/2021
  • QIC: @Gopher
  • The PAX: Delta, Epsilon, Big Tuna, bluecrush, Hornet, Mogwai, BandAid, motown, toughskins, Silas, headnshoulders, Hot Corner, Change Order, thirdday, Gopher

The gloom was good this morning. No rain on site, which was a good omen for the beatdown.

At 0530, I gave the disclaimer and we were off for a short mosey around the parking lot and return back to our flags for a little warmup. We warmed up with 10 reps each of SSH, GrampaJacks, Imperial Walkers, and slow windmills. We proceeded forward to the THANG.

The Thang:

We moseyed over to our coupon pile and grabbed a coupon for Station #1. The prescription was as follows with your coupons:

20 Curls – 20 Overhead presses – 20 Tricep Extensions – 20 LBC’s. We did 3 rounds and planked awaiting the six. Once ALL-IN we deposited our coupons back.

We moseyed to the back of the school and circled up for Station #2. The prescription was as follows:

40 Moroccan Night Clubs – 20 Bobby Hurleys – 10 Monkey Humpers – 5 Burpees. We did 3 rounds and planked awaiting the six. Once ALL-IN we recovered and moved on…

We moseyed to the bus lot and circled up for Station #3. The prescription was as follows:

5 Jack Webbs – 10 Captain Thor’s – 15 Dying Cockroaches – 20 Flutterkicks. We did 3 rounds and planked awaiting the six. Once ALL-IN we moved onto a “Extended Mary.”

We stayed in our circle and did a variety of Mary exercises including: J-Lo’s, Planks, Pickle Pounders, Bear Hold(bear crawl plank), 6 Inches, HelloDollys, Flutterkicks, Kimchi or Sumo squat.

Time was called and we moseyed back to flags for COT.

Announcements: 2 beatdowns this Saturday PLUS a March Forth 5K/15K. BandAid will have his VQ at Clean Slate at Porter Ridge HS 0630, and IDK will be the Q for the Vet at 0700. Vintner’s afterwards along with that being the starting point for the March Forth event. Info on SLACK as to race and route.

NMM: BlueCrush always seems to be the first one to plank up and wait for the 6, he always get more plank time than us all! 😁

There was some confusion as to the Captain Thor’s – Yes they are supposed to be just like Jack Webbs – for every ‘1’ WW2 you are to do ‘4’ American Hammers. 2-8, 3-12, 4-16…and so on. I described as a constant 4 hammers after every WW2. Sorry for short-changing you all. Will make it up next time! Also, I like the name Thor’s Hammer much better than Captain Thor’s.

As always it was an honor to lead our PAX which just so happens to be the best AO in the Region.

HOO-AH!
