Seven runners and a rucker for seven segments

  • When: 10/19/20
  • QIC: Big Blue
  • The PAX: Zaccheaus, 4-wide, Turbine, Major Pain, Porto, Hokie Pokie, Hop Hunter

Luckily our MQ posted this week’s schedule on slack yesterday evening, as I had completely forgotten I had the Q this morning.  I surely would have fart sacked (pulled an “Opie” as we refer to it now at Afton) this morning, as a late evening at the CannonBallers stadium yesterday resulted in about 1 too many.  I was thinking about just running the “normal route” so I could take it easy but since Major Pain was there, I could not disappoint him with a “normal route”.

I called for the Segment run, told our lone Rucker we would be staying in Afton village, and off we went.  All in all, we hit seven segments in the Afton village and Hop Hunter grabbed 2 segment crowns.  Great push by all and good showing for a cold Monday morning – way to start the week off right.

Amway, those suffering from covid19, 4-wide’s family loss of in-laws grandparent, Turbine’s friend’s premature baby, kids and teachers as they head back to the classroom and all unspoken prayers.
