The Blink of an Eye
25 men and boys headed to Stallings Rd Park this morning with every intention of enjoying another healthy dose of fitness, fellowship, and faith. Things quickly took a dark turn when Farfegnugen (Grayson) was hit by a Sherrif’s Deputy car around 5:30am at the intersection of Stallings Rd and Veteran’s Parkway while doing a pre-workout run with his father (Ivy league). Grayson was conscious during the ordeal. We pray for his full recovery. We pray for the Deputy also.
None of us knows for sure what the next day, or even the next minute, holds. Be diligent in all things, be thankful, and cherish each day, each moment, as the true gift from God that they are.
We lifted Grayson up in prayer and worked through a somewhat muted kettle bell workout. YHC was more than humbled by the many birthday wishes. You all are a true blessing, and I know other Pax appreciate the shared camaraderie F3 provides as much as YHC does.
We all know that there are many more men in our community who could benefit from F3 as we have. Let’s not keep it a secret!
In every community, there is work to do be done.
In every nation, there are wounds to heal.
In every heart, there is the power to do it.
