Back to The Grind and Gloom
2 PAX joined the QIC for the first Kannon Phase I Beatdown. It was a beautiful morning, and unseasonably cold (YHC is ready for Spring and Summer). I guess the threat of the QIC’s beatdown scared off a few regulars, GM said he was in fantasy Granite Falls, The Burgh said he enjoyed to many Corona’s, Squid went to the open free state of South Cacklaca, Sir Topem is on injured reserve and I am sure Chicken strip was running some virtual race somewhere. Beatdown was changed up do to numbers, so the group took off on a run with pain stations (all kinds of pain, more on that later) stops at the great K-Town sports legends stops.
PAX included Gunny (aka Patient Zero), Backdraft (aka Gimpy) and FireChicken (Muddy Britches)
No Warmaroma, we just took off running.
1st Legend stop, AL Brown – Do some Merkins, Step Ups, and Ab Work. First pain is Gimpy’s gout feet, he was slow but still rolling.
On the run through the village to the next stop, Muddy Britches had a brown route and split off for the coffee shop hoping they would let him in. This was the second pain. Meanwhile YHC and Gimpy ran down to Dale Earnhardt BLVD did some Merkins and ab work and then proceeded back to Main Street. YHC and Gimpy met up with Muddy Britches at the Coffee shop and did some more stuff.
2nd stop, Dale Statue for Step ups Merkins, Ab work.
Last stop Ballers Ball Park for a run around the park with Merkins at the bases.
The Group heads back to Mary
Muddy Britches lead the his ab blast work out. Thank goodness it wasn’t an ab blowout work out.
Prayers and Announcements
Prayers for our world and good health for the PAX and families.
YHC’s last Q was the first Virtual Q for Kannon and I don’t know about you, but it has been a tough couple of weeks not working out with the mighty men of Kannon. It so important to support and push each other to accelerate. We are blessed to have technology to communicate from almost anywhere, but there is no substitute for personal interaction. How else do you know someone had to have a brown route stop or you circle back to pick up the six because they just need a little company to work through the pain. If I’ve never mentioned it before, thanks for circling back, for challenging me to give a little more, and to talk little smack to get me out of a funk. YHC can’t wait to bond with the brothers with no social distancing.
As always, thanks for the opportunity!
Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
