First Kannon Virtual Beatdown
4 PAX (the Q thinks) joined the QIC for the first Kannon Virtual Beatdown and maybe the only. Due to COVID-19 there has been a lot of, and I mean A LOT of discussion on whether PAX should post for a beatdown in person or not. YHC was up to Q this AM anyway and made the decision to Q a Virtual Beatdown via Slack. The weather was fairly warm and foggy at the Gunny compound. This is the way it went down.
The PreBlast noted to workout where ever the PAX may want to. The Q would post the Beatdown at 0530 sharp and after the PAX would do Namearoma via Slack. The hope was everyone would do the Beatdown at the same time but at different locations. That was the idea anyway.
Warm up run 2 laps around the house, block or whatever estimating 1/8 of a mile

Prayers and Announcements
Prayers for our world and good health for the PAX and families.
Well, somebody has to jump into the pool first. I don’t know if we did or not but let’s say more posted than what the Q thought would after the back and forth on various slack channels and text groups. Grandmaster and The Burgh stated on slack that they posted just an hour later than the QIC. FireChicken and Catfish also logged in on Slack at the workout time. YHC guesses that works because two things were accomplished. 1. A couple of PAX posted and had accountability that they posted to make their bodies better. 2. A small group of men, even though they were not physically together, did work out together with a peer lead Beatdown. The mission of F3 is
Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
Hopefully YHC did follow the mission of F3 and followed the only 5 basic rules of F3:
Our workouts …
- Are free of charge
- Are open to all men
- Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
- Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary
- End with a Circle of Trust
YHC needs to maybe figure out a better way to End with a Circle of Trust, but otherwise pretty much on spot. With all of that being said YHC wants to remind the readers that leading is not about the Q, but leading is to help the greater good to make those around you better. Leading is not being the toughest, it’s not being the coolest, and it’s not being the most popular. A leader moves the group forward no matter the situation. Life is not perfect and neither is leading. As you can see YHC had 45 minutes to think in the gloom this am. YHC is just glad someone answered at 0520 when he posted on slack “Is anyone there?” and there was a reply. Thanks Brothers!
As always, thanks for the opportunity!
