Ducks, Bunnies and Bears, oh my!!
YHC noticed an open Q spot for this week and since it’s been a while since I’ve Lead the great Stoners, AND I figured I’d develop a loose plan. Yeah you heard that right, no pulling it out of theArse today, legit plan!
So, 0530, textbook dsiclaimer, mosey to the old school!
Paradise by the bus lot light! SSHs, Windmills, Cotton Pickers, Prisoner Squats and Merkins. (AKA – Typical Sugar warm up. if it ain’t broke, dont fix it!)
Mosey to the field for The Thang!
Partner movements were the plan which of course required us to parnter up. Partner Movements: P1 does exercise while P2 runs to opposite end and returns to relieve P1, etc,etc,etc until PAX reach the opposite end.
1st Movement: Bear Crawls
2nd Movement: Duck Walk (or hunched over elderly man walk for some)
3rd Movement: Movement Under Fire (something we learned from our Cadre during the MeCa GORUCK Custom Tough back in March 2017. From a low crawl position, pop up and run a short distance and drop back down to the cadence of: “I’m up, he sees me, I’m down”. It is actually how trops are trained to move under fire.)
4th Movement: Crawl Bear
We moved to the side lines for the final 2 movements.
5th Movement: Burpee Broad Jumps
6th Movement: Lunges/Bunny Hops alternated
Time to head back to WROP but not before we take on a bit of 4 corners around the track: WWIIs, Mountain Climbers, Diamond Merkins, Wide Merkins.
Dying Cockroach, Homer to Marge with some Rosalita’s and wrapped it up with Mason Twists in the Teacher Lot.

Thanks for playing along today, it was fun! Today’s workout was rough for sure but it could have sucked more had we taken that on individually. Could we have? Sure but again it would have SUCKED and a few of us (YHC included) would have missed the COT.
So what did we learn today? RS PAX need proper Duckwalk training, ducks are not mammals AND, lean on your Brothers in tough times. There are few things in life that you have to go through alone. Just like this morning’s fun, you can but…….
