A Royal Invasion

Members of our armed forces “invaded” our workout – ROTC guys from UNCC and ONJ’s son a West Point cadet. THANK YOU guys for joining us and your service!

A similar workout to one hosted last week by Man Down with different exercises.  I think these workouts are great because it combines strength, flexibility and aerobic conditioning with 35 or 40 minutes of non-stop exercise.  It went something like this:

From the lower parking lot near the blocks we did the exercises below.  After each exercise we ran down the other end of the parking lot and back then started on the next exercise.  No stopping until time is up.  We also had some tunes (thanks Hot Wheels for bringing the speaker).

  1. Cinder block merkins – 20
  2. Bobby Hurleys – 20
  3. Curls – 20
  4. Cinder block burpees
  5. Pull Ups – 10
  6. Dips – 10
  7. Chin Ups – 10
  8. Incline/Decline Merkins – 10 ea
  9. Shoulder Press – 20
  10. Pallet push – halfway and back
