SUCKnado at The Precinct!

YHC was thinking that I would bring Sharknado to The Precinct this morning, but decided to mix it up a bit with different exercises, a shorter sprint, some workout music, and cinder blocks! Men, I give you SUCKnado!

After getting the music set up, I rolled in hot to Intake at 0530 on the dot. Royal and Titan were stretching it out ready to embrace the SUCK for the day. Moving Disclaimer given as we moseyed to the Cell Block, grabbing cinder blocks along the way. Guinness joined us as we squared up for a little Warmorama with 20 SSH, 20 IST, 20 CP, and 20 WM all IC.

Instructions for SUCKnado…Do the first exercise, then sprint around both tennis courts. Do the next exercise, then sprint again. Repeato through all 12 exercises, then plan for the six.

  1. 20 groiners
  2. 20 merkins
  3. 20 jump squats
  4. 20 WW2 sit-ups
  5. 20 Carolina dry docks
  6. 20 jump lunges
  7. 20 curls
  8. 20 triceps
  9. 20 shoulder press
  10. 20 upright rows
  11. 20 lawn mower pulls (r)
  12. 20 lawn mower pulls (l)

That was fun! Let’s do it again…Repeato all 12 exercises with sprints in between each!

Cinder blocks up and time for People’s Mary with box cutters by Titan, some awful crunchy bullfrog concoction by Guinness that he picked up at Afton, pretzel crunches by Royal, and dying cockroaches by YHC. Plank for a minute to wrap things up. Recover, recover!!!

  • That SUCKed in the best of ways! Thanks for being out there men. I would have done it if I was by myself, but would not have pushed myself nearly as hard. I’m better because of this band of brothers. Taking the Red Pill is never easy, but it’s always right.
  • Great discussion about Failing Forward at the end. I appreciate Michael Jordan’s quote – “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
  • Prayers lifted for Hot Wheels and 2 Step on their Ghana mission with The Father’s House.
