A friendly wager between the Dawgs and the Harrisburg Pax resulted in quiet a haul for the Harrisburg Food Pantry during the month of February. It also resulted in Harrisburg Pax Q’ing a week of Dawg House workouts. YHC grabbed one of the two cruise workouts. We mixed it up this morning with some F2 running around the streets of Carolando and also some huffing and puffing running on two Strava segments.

Great work out there, men. Lots of PRs posted on Strava. Hard work and consistency is paying off!!

Rerun – way to finish real strong and pass the pack on that last segment!

Hop Hunter – there was no doubt about the CR changing hands on the Race Track loop. You were nowhere in sight!

Tugboat Willie – congrats on the mile PR on Strava

Booter – Great effort out there. Enjoyed running with you.

Talladega – Excellent work this morning and especially on the Race Track loop

  • Afton Park public input session will be this coming Monday from 5 to 7 pm at McGill Baptist Church. This is an opportunity for the public to provide input regarding plans for future upgrades to Afton Park. …………. Improved lighting and the addition of workout stations along the trails could really be put to use by the Afton Pax, so take this opportunity to provide input to the planning process

Here is one of my favorite quotes. It is by the poet T.S Elliott: “Only those who risk going too far, can possibly find out how far one can go.” ……………… Be bold and take the risk.
