Lights at Afton?

Under threat of being banned from Afton for fart sacking YHC’s Q twice in 3 weeks I made sure to show up … 2 min late. While Bug Blue has already termed fart sacking your own Q pulling a Chicken Strip it may be more appropriate for being late to your own Q.

T Claps to Big Blue for starting off the workout with some SSHs as YHC arrived. We then moseyed to the tennis court go continue the warm up.

Cotton Pickers x 15 IC

Imperial Storm Trooper x 15 IC

Mosey to wall

Toe Touches x 10 IC (people’s chair against the wall and alternate leg raises touching each toe when it’s raised)

Hip Slappers x 10 IC (balls to the wall position at a less steep angle and alternate raising arms and slapping your hip)

Mosey back to parking lot and onto trail around park to the connector to the street.

Mosey to gazebo square stopping at each lamppost to do burpees (increase reps by 1 up to 10 for each lamppost then reduce by 1 – e.g.: 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10…9…8…7). There were a lot more lampposts than YHC anticipated but we did one that was out but only one side of the street leading up to the square.

Once at the square which is more of a triangle we did rounds of the following exercises at each of the 3 corners (the 2 by the gazebo and the 1 by the flag pile).

Merkins x 20

Flutter Kicks x 20 IC

Squats x 20

Burpees x 10

Mosey back to AO parking lot no burpees this time.

Crunchy Frog x 15 IC

Mason Twist x 10 IC

Hip Raises x 10 IC (lying on your back with your hips in the air – Marge position use your lower abs to raise your legs into the air).

Announcements:

City meeting about improvements to Dorton Park is next Monday, April 8 from 5-7 PM. If able come and plug improvements desired such as lights and fitness stations along trails. Discuss ideas and HC on Slack.

Moleskin:

Thanks for letting me Q and putting with my chronic tardiness. Mornings are mentally and somewhat physically difficult for me but I never regret making it to a workout.

I guess I scared some of the other pax off (Extractor, Hop Hunter and Pharoh) with my awful workout two weeks ago. Pharoh was still sore physically and emotionally on Saturday which was made clear when he remembered he hated me for the workout and punched me while we were running in the half marathon much to the enjoyment of others running around us.
