The Escape Ladder
Three brave souls walked up hill both ways in the ice to enjoy a Skywalker beat down in the sub-freezing weather. YHC was counting on a unanimous fartsack with the plan to wait briefly in the car before driving back home, but Sparky and Grinder ruined it. In order to stay warm and escape the cold, a lot of movement was required and it went something like this…

We couldn’t get warm enough during Warmarama, so YHC proceeded immediately into a variation of the 10 & 1 ladder. Except we did a 10-5-1 ladder. And the ladder was no ordinary 12 footer. It was more like an escape ladder for a high rise building in NYC. The AO began at the tee box on Hole #1 with 1 Jump Squat and then was a steep incline back to the top of the cart crossing where we completed 5 Merkins and then tried to run up the giant hill back to the top of the parking lot where we completed 10 Carolina Dry Docks. We followed the normal 10&1, 9&2, 8&3 rotation with jump squats at the bottom and CDDs at the top, but we also completed the 5 Merkins every time at the midpoint on the way up and down the ladder. The second part of the hill was actually so steep that we all resorted to walking it (which was still painful). Shockingly, the ladder took the entire workout and was actually so miserable that we forgot it was ever cold outside.
