It ain’t THAT cold
10 men, or 9 and 1 budding young adult, discarded the fartsack for a slightly chilly (23 degrees or so maybe) run or ruck. 4 took off on a ruck, including Life Alert on his VR, and 9V, who thought this would be a good idea before school. 4 took of on the P route with Sparknut and Jimmy Buffett being discovered along the way. JB peeled off towards home after connecting the P, Sparknut added mileage via Marquette and the Greenway, Roomba added on with the Haunted Daycare and Manwich ran the HRMS lot a bit to get to 4 miles. YHC was happy with 3.5 as his marathon training only called for 3 miles (getting close.)
Solid showing considering the elements, nice work boys!
COT: Prayers for Guinness’ family in the tragic loss of his niece Lydia, so sad. Prayers also for Sparknut’s brother, Nathan, who will be leaving a treatment facility in February and will be in transitional housing, which can bring its own set of issues. Lord, surround them all with love and strength.
Tomorrow is the day that the torch is passed. There will be a new Rolling Stone Master Q announced at tomorrow’s beatdown. It has been a pleasure being the RS MQ for the better part of a year. I am looking forward to what our new leader brings to the table. In the end though, F3 works because of each and everyone one of us bringing our special gifts to the table. One of the best things about F3 is that EVERYBODY is a leader, don’t be afraid to step up even if you don’t have a “title.” We are all in this together. God bless!
