3rd Anniversary Q. Enthusiasm unique to F3.
9 men showed up in a light rain to help YHC celebrate 3 years with F3. That first morning was a tough Kettlebell BC with quite a few guys and a meteor shower that we witnessed during Mary. This morning didn’t have the meteor shower, dry weather, or slight thought of merlot spillage but had the same great mumblechatter and 2nd F that hooked me.
We assembled under the overhang for warmup but had to move to the other overhang before completing it due to Man Downs dietary issues and/or experiments. Warmarama included SSHs, slow Cotton Pickers, slow Windmills, Low Slow Squats, Storm Troopers, Arm Circles, and Hand Release Merkins.
After moseying to the far side of the parking lot, we began a Burpee / Sprint ladder. My idea was to do 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 Burpee sets with a sprint across the parking lot in between. Sterling showed great enthusiasm even in the rain so we ended up doing 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 6 Burpee sets separated by sprints across and back the parking lot. I love the enthusiasm Sterling.
We moseyed to the pull up bars for a ladder of 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 merkins but some other enthusiasm surfaced and the Merkins were changed to double Merkins. I think Man Down said something. Love the enthusiasm.
An Indian Run took us across Prosperity Church and to the wall in front of the Mansion. We did a ladder of 12, 8, 6 Carolina Jackasses (combo Carolina Dry Docks and Donkey Kicks) separated by Wall Chair time. More than I planned due to Sterlings enthusiasm. As we were leaving Guinness asked for some Balls to the Walls. We turned back to do it… again with the enthusiasm.
We Indian ran back to the church parking lot and Mary. People’s Mary included LBCs, Box Cutters, Low Flutters, Freddy Mercurys, and Crunchy Frogs. We did it in some puddles because Man Down was enthusiastic for it.
Thanks for the great workout guys!
