Spelling Bee at Comanche
15 Pax, a mixture from Highlands, Comanche, The Ridge, and Kannon decided to start the New Year off right with an elementary-style Spell Your Name(s) beatdown that YHC stole from an F3 Metro Pax who posted it on Twitter. Thanks, brother! I’m not above stealing beatdown ideas and sharing them with my friends.
T Claps to @The Nanny for rucking 2.8 miles to/from the beatdown.
Here’s how things went down. Mosey to MARY lot, do the parking spot shuffle for half the lot (weave through spots running forward, backward, shufflling right, and shuffling left). My co-Q, @Forgotten Jelly, who was reportedly “stuck on the shitter” showed up around this time. TMI brother, TMI…. @Chicken Strip decided to grace us with his presence shortly thereafter. No judgment here as most of us (excluding @Disaster) were up a little later than usual last night celebrating the end of 2018. For me personally, 2018 was a shitty year all around so I’m glad to see it go and start fresh. Good Riddance 2018!
Warm-o-Rama: SSH x10IC, Merkins x5IC, Low Slow Squat x10IC, CP x10IC, Windmill x10IC. Mosey over to the front of the school to my giant poster board weinke. Thanks to the M for her penmanship and my 2.1 for drawing the Comanche Logo (well sort of) on it. If I had written this out, the Pax wouldn’t have been able to read half of it which would’ve made it even more miserable. Simple instructions were given. Use the letter key to spell your first, middle, last, and F3 names with random exercises and rep counts associated with each letter (see attached pic). Run a lap around the parking lot after each name is completed. If you finish all four of your names, start on a random pax’s F3 name. For some reason, the group chose @The Farm’s name as the random Pax name. Not sure if that was because he’s the shortest Pax they knew, or because his name was somewhat short.?.?.?
Mosey over to MARY lot for Pretzel Crunch, Low Dolly, Rosalita, Pickle Pounders, and LBC’s.
Pax with short names were appreciative of that. Pax with longer names were not. Good mumblechatter flowed throughout.
Enjoyed it men, hope you did too!
The Gremlin is coming Jan. 19. It will be a solid beatdown for sure. Sign up to participate or volunteer. The more of both, the merrier!
