A Foggy Iron Fist
All All MECA BackblastsDecember 7th, 2016
5 of tradition’s finest found themselves in the Fog for a iron fist workout this morn. YHC offered to pick up the Q with a little prompting from our new master Q – who seems to be very attentive to the Q schedule – making sure all Pax have the opportunity to Q it up at tradition. Good work Guinness!
You’ll get Major Pain on the schedule yet – and we can look forward to a marine corp. style beatdown in the near future.
Warmorama – various and sundry warm up exercises after a brief mosey
over to the picnic tables for some step up/ dip work
then over to the brand new cinder blocks – thanks to whoever provided them!, for a little shoulder and upper body work
Partner up – except for Major- he offered to be his own partner to keep it from causing mass confusion.
100 Merkins in total – one partner overhead carries the CB while P2 does CB merk – switch till we hit 100
200- high pulls
300 Chest Press
Arms and shoulders were feeling it this morning. Great work by all!!
MARY – starting w/ arm circles to get the numbness out of our arms….
COT
BOM
Always highly entertaining with this group. Great way to start the day.

Great Beatdown, @Dutch. My soccer arms are Yuge. How can I play soccer now? Thanks for partnering, @Maximus. @MajorPain was concerned about you taking a book study break in the middle of the Beatdown. @Seeker, I think I heard, “you’ll be dead to me” from @MajorPain if you skip out on the 5am run. Way to go on that commitment! Did I hear that we have already begun planning for next year’s BRR Christmas Party, is that true?
What is the “BRR Christmas Party”?
@Dingo, That was my attempt with humor and a tad bit of sarcasm relating to the BRR slideshow that may have gone a little long. 🙂
I guess a few men missed the numerous emails asking people to add pics to the slideshow. That’s weird. The longest lasting CSAUP event from a training and event time perspective had the most pics at the party… That’s also weird. A few solutions are:
-Participate in more CSAUP
-Contribute pictures
@TheFarm, Sorry, I wasn’t being critical of the party or the BRR. I plan to be doing the BRR next year. The slideshow was great and humorous. (Perhaps a tad bit long.. just sayin’) It was great for us together. I just didn’t get a chance to talk to people, which is ALL about me. #HumorFail
Tough beatdown @dutch. Arms and shoulders are feeling it! Those new cinder blocks are heavy – though good to have them. Definitely a strength maker. Thanks for partnering @guinness and carrying much of the load -those heavy blocks beat me down (in a good way!)
