Wildfires and skunks don’t smell so good…….It was my lead after all
All All MECA BackblastsNovember 16th, 2016
4 of The Burg’s pax fought off the not so wonderful scents this morning and beat the pavement for 5 – 5.2 or so miles. After further confirmation, today was my lead…..though we did not know it @ 5:30a, or at least I did not. Glad I got out of the fartsack. Outlook played a trick on me, had me down for next Wednesday. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Our long mosey was as follows:
– Former Sports Junction to Roberta
– Left on Roberta
– Right on Parallel
– Straight through Valhalla
– Right on Lakeview back to Valhalla
– Left on Morehead
– Right on Rocky River Crossing
– Right on Roberta
– Left on Carl Palmer through Town Center
– Back to the former Sports Junction, where it all began
We arrived a little late after taking too big a circle around Town Center.

– Appreciate Flip Phone “sharing” and co-leading his recently used route this morning.
– Kudos to Strapless for his Marshall University Half-Marathon completion after dealing with planter fasciitis.
– So, how close was that car to you Papa John when you crossed Morehead?
– Operation Sweet Tooth is in full force. Let Flip Phone or @Kojak know if you need access to the spreadsheet to view/sign up for what kids you could sponsor a gift for.
– 2nd Annual Turkey bowl on Thanksgiving Day @ 7a @ Harrisburg Park. Bring the 2.0’s.
– Christmas party is set for 12/3 @ Hawthorne’s. Please rsvp to Dick Tracy.
– “Go fast enough to get there, but slow enough to see” – Jimmy Buffett
