FishBone at Rolling Stone
All All MECA BackblastsNovember 16th, 2016
It was the 3 Musketeers + 2 on this post-Super-Lunar morning. The sky was beautiful (no headlamp needed) and a perfect 35 deg. All of my clowncar buddies decided to fartsack, which seemed like a good idea until I remembered that I signed up to Q. Fortunately I can always count on Marie and Sugar, and we had 2 returning Pax from the past, Loco and Verona. Oops, no disclaimer, but no FNG’s so let’s go.
THE THANG
The Fishbone was the diet of this morning’s challenge. The Fishbone offers a delightful variety of running/cardio, pain/calisthenics, and surprise. It is easily modified by skipping the pain or the extra turn-outs in the run, so that any Pax can do it. The compete Fishbone includes 3.4 miles and 17 pain stations along the Lizard greenway. The pain is completely Pax choice. We rotate through the Pax, with each man taking a turn choosing the exercise and the reps (ie surprise).
Pain included: SSH, Incline Mericans, Burpees, WWII sit-up’s, Prisoner Squats, Low Slow Squats, Mericans, Mountain Climbers, LBC, Dips…some repeated and maybe some forgotten.
I think the time was 41:52 from the lead runner.
MOLESKIN
- Sugar said he wasn’t planning on setting any records, so that’s why we took it easy this morning fellas! 😉  Great effort by everyone today! Thank you for the accountability and for the push. I’d never do what I do without you guys and would never have accomplished what I have with my fitness without you.
- Verona – Well done sir! I respect your drive and work ethic, although we would’ve appreciate seeing Merlot spillage. You’re such a tease.
- Loco – Great to see you out again. We will meet in the same place tomorrow.
- No Ty Webb this morning. I suppose he is resting up to hurt us tomorrow.
- HDHH at Johnny Brusco’s tomorrow at 7:00
PRAYERS
- First responders are working their butts off with these fires. Please pray for them.
- Pray for unity in our nation as we transition into the new presidency.
…hope you got your money’s worth
-Sparknut

Thanks for taking the Q and the lead, Sparknut. The bright moon was awesome for a visit to the Greenway.
Three of the last four legs always deliver and today was no different. I appreciate the push and for our “runner” Loco joining us for the hybrid Cruise. Loco, just sign up to Q on a Wed if you want to guarantee running only!
Verona, glad to have you back and great effort today.
Sugar- you just couldn’t let the WWII sit-ups go, right?
Milkbone- MIA, where are you?
Until next time.
Sup brother. I’m nursing my knee right now. Its feeling a little funky. Preventive care
