We found Mary

All All MECA Backblasts

September 20th, 2016 By Hula

Last Friday Sparknut led the Bell Buster workout and ended by saying, “If yall see Mary, please tell her I said hello”. It might have been the first time I completed an F3 workout without Mary. http://f3nation.com/2016/09/16/rs-bell-buster-no-running/

Subconsciously, I was on a mission to find her and brought 15 others along for the journey.

Warmarama: Mosey to the Circle and IC: 20 SSH, 15 Tempo Merkins, 15 Imperial Storm Troopers, 15 Windmills, 15 Cotton Pickers- No sign of Mary

The Thizzle: Mosey over to the Whatley’s wall still looking for Mary

Partner Up for some Grinder action on the wall, P1 do reps on the wall, while P2 runs a circle around the parking lot (100 Dips, 100 Incline Merkins, 100 Decline Merkins) Is that Mary I see?

Circle Up: 50 LBCs IC, 20 Imperial Squat Troopers IC, 25 LBCs IC, 10 Imperial Squat Troopers. Still looking for her..

Partner back up on Whatley’s Wall: P1 and P2 Running Grinder (100 Step up each leg, 100 Dips, 100 Step Ups Each Leg) I see Mary!!

Circle up again: 25 IC Pretzel Crunches IC, 10 IC Sobriety Checks (Stretchy), The W x20 IC, Reverse Crunch IC x20, 10 Burpees OYO (PAX mumbling about us finding Mary too soon) Back to the wall for some Incline Diamond Merkins IC x20 (Sugar) and Decline Diamond Merkins IC x10 (Schnitzel)

Finish in Traditional Mary Circle with the Peak-A-Boo x20 IC.

Moleskine: Thank you Gentlemen for your prayers for my son Jake. Please keep him and my M lifted up during this time. We are trusting in the Lord. Thanks Boss for the prayer this morning. Good work Boss with FNG Eric. Hope to see him out again. Tugboat, I am glad I partnered with you. You are an absolute beast, and a fitting nickname, because you totally carried the load for our team. I am impressed with each one of you and the strength you display. ON my own, I would never continue on, but collectively we spur each other on to step it up and keep going. Lets not forget to reach out to some of the old PAX who havent been here in awhile, and let them know we miss them.

Have a blessed day my dudes.

Your brother,

Hula

  1. Nice Q, @Hula. Very prompt back blast, I think it was posted before I got home!

@Granite, good partnering with you. Congratulations on 2.4! If you post enough, you should be able to sleep through the nocturnal baby business.

@MC and @Sparky, good to be hanging out on the #Respect side of the lineup with you. Wouldn’t know it by the way you guys bang out your reps, though. Do some for me.

    Looking forward to Thursday, #passTheIce.

  2. Good Q Hula! Variety is the spice of life AND a decent reminder to all Qs and future Qs. As Q, it’s your workout. Even if all you do is call Merkins for 45 minutes, or Burpees (yes, I said it). Arms were burnt this morning.

Boss it was great partnering with you. I see improvement in you every week! And Tclaps on bringing out FNG Eric soon to be know as……..

Great numbers guys!! Thanks to all the @Skywalker boys for showing up and Ty Webb of course! I must say, pretty cold of you guys to make Grinder run the whole way.

Running Fishbone tomorrow – tons of fun!!!!! Give it a shot! #DRP

  3. Hula, you definitely found Mary. Nice workout, it was nice to get some extra ab work in. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you and your family. Please let us know if we can help in any other way.

Schnitzel and MC, it’s nice to have some company in the over 50 club. We have to stay strong to keep up with these energetic youngsters.

Hummer, great to partner with you, we had a strong showing.

See you all later in the week.

  4. Good lead @Hula but I’m still a little confused… we kept circling up? Did the warm up every actually end? Either way, it’s always good to partner up with MC- he is a MaChine.

    I enjoyed it fellas!

    1. I think @Hula calls it the Warm-a-Mary repeato workout.

  5. Much love to RS PAX!!

@Hula Great Q this morning, I am finally able to move my arms enough to type something.

Great numbers again this morning and good to see some new and familiar faces like @Grinder and @Granite.

@Sugar thanks for being a great partner and for the encouragement.

@FNG Eric Good work this morning, looking forward to getting you out there on Thursday and getting you a name.

  6. What, a Hula Q with no props?? Way to change it up!

Thanks for partnering up, Grinder, and for bringing the Skywalker boys over for a visit. You young guys give us “respects” (Schnitzel, Sparky, this means you bad dudes) something to work for.

Milk Bone and Hummer, quit laying in the travel lanes, you are blocking the morning traffic.

    Until next time…

  7. Nice Q @Hula. I was sort of hoping we wouldn’t find Mary. I liked the ab mash-up as we went along though.
@Monty Great partnering with you. We killed those declines!

It’s not as easy as it looks to come out that early in the morning and sweat it out with a bunch of men about 20-30 years older that you, but it’s all good, and I enjoy it.
@Marie Callendar did you mistake me for @Grinder during the grinder? Haha, thanks.

    Until Thursday…

  8. Yes, little Schnitzel, I did, but likely more a fatigue factor than you guys looking alike. Plus 3/4 of the PAX have on black shirts so you all blend in together anyway.
