Good Ol’ Rocky Top

All All MECA Backblasts

September 8th, 2016 By Clueless

9 Men came to Rocky Top to get better. The gloom provided no cover from the burden their rocks would press on them this fine day.  However, there is no better preparation for hearing the Volunteer fight song over and over again from Bristol then working at The Ridge

Slow Mosey for a Warm Up

Warm Up

The Thang

Mosey to the rock pile to pick two partners, a traveling rock and a buddy, to play a little Catch Me If You Can, Quadraphilia and Rock Partner Relays around the stadium.

Catch Me If You Can

YHC forgot to point the PAX in the right direction but everyone ended up at our friendly neighbor hill for

Quadraphilia.

Mosey with our rocks over to the practice field for Rock Partner Relays.

In Rounds, Partner 1 took his rock across the field for lunges and a mosey one way and to drop their rock and sprint back to Partner 2.  In the meantime, Partner 2 was performing stationary exercises.

Partners switched for 4 rounds. Round 1: Wall Worms; Round 2: Rock-a-bye Baby; Round 3: Rock-ee, and Round 4: Air Squats.  Again, YHC forgot to tell the PAX important information: leave their rocks and Air Squat without them.  All in the PAX, except the Q, did some extra credit because of it.

Slow mosey to say goodbye to our rocks and circle up for Mary.

  1. If you haven’t Q’d before, please grab a spot. The hardest part is coming up with The Thang, not leading it. We need more and more Q’s to keep this rolling.
  2. TClaps to @Clueless for volunteering to co-lead. Leadership like yours, and many others, is vital.
  3. A PAX member left half-way. As this was a virgin Q leading, is that a good or bad thing?
  4. Good work men!
