A PAX 33 strong descended on the gloom with the trophy on the line for some war paint, playlist and pain – the summer edition. YHC was well aware the war paint supplies are running low, but promises to restock when the Halloween aisle reappears at Walmart (probably next week). With flag planted, FNG welcomed, reigning champ @Thorn absent, faces painted and disclaimer given the PAX moseyed to…

THE PIGSKIN MOLESKIN:

  1. Great work today men. And the new champ, signer of the football and thorn in the side of @Thorn is @Tugboat! Skywalker made good on it’s promise to take the trophy. To see if @Tugboat can successfully defend look for the fall edition sometime in November. Check back for a followup post with the finishing distances.
  2. Welcome FNG – Rick Staab! One can only assume that @Abassador (Ken Staab) convinced his brother(?) to introduce himself as SOB. Well played sir! After some indecision on whether to name him or not, it was concluded the official name will come later. If the @Ambassador continues his cruel sibling ways, Rick’s name could be epic!!
  3. Skywalker may have taken the trophy, but it must be mentioned that one of its members joined the PAX at 0600. Hey @Grinder! Glad you were able to get 1.5 rounds in.
  4. Tclaps to @Frodo for representing his Kansas Jayhawks well! He didn’t deliver on what would be the Jayhawks only win on a football field this fall. However, he bested YHC. Which for the sad football state of affairs in Kansas feels like a win for @Frodo over YHC’s Texas Longhorns.
  5. @Derby was taken back to his high school days with the new opening song of the playlist. Bodies from Drowning Pool was released in 2001. In 2001 YHC had already decided to have a vasectomy because the M was done having kids. #F3BringsGenerationsTogether #TooMuchInformation?

    On a side note, 2 ladies were running the bus lot as I set up the table and field. One can only imagine what went through their minds when they saw a grown man with face paint on, dressed in all black and before sunrise. But they seemed to like having some music to run to! If you hear any complaints, let’s blame @Chowder! We look exactly alike.

    Great work out there everyone… strong numbers and performances. Also, Happy birthday to @Alcatraz and thanks for continuing to exceed expectations with your leadership #freewater. Glad @Bunny’s appearance was documented as we may not see it again in 2016 #oneanddone.

    Well done as always @Alcatraz. Still one of my favorite F3 workouts. Are you going to post the scores to the backblast?

    Thanks to @Shazam for the push today. I’ve determined that the best way to improve my score is to match up with someone better than me and do everything possible to keep up. Seemed to work well today as I finished five rounds for the first time ever.

    @Alcatraz thanks for leading this morning, and thanks for the Touchdown Beatdown. I 2nd @Disaster with this being one of my favorite workouts. 2nd time that I did the Touchdown Beatdown, so this time I knew what to expect.

    @Thorn sorry you weren’t there brother. I hope we can meet up in November. Praying for your Mom, I hope that her condition is improving.
