8 of the Faithful dove head first into the holiday weekend and ventured over to UNCC for a cruise. The cruise was co-lead by two alumni. Unfortunately, we weren’t much of a tour guide, since nothing that is there now was there when we were there. Nonetheless, it was good to get a change of scenery, and get some good stair climbs in.

The Thang:
Run from Burrito Station to top of North Deck, through the middle of campus to top of East Deck, over to the top of South Village deck, and end as the west deck.

Moleskin:
I’m not sure that stairs translate to good training for BRR, but they sure were a good challenge for the heart and lungs.

   Good tour guys. Those decks sucked. NOW I know what the stairway to heaven is that I read about in backblasts. I’ll have to post for the real thing soon.

   Really annoyed I missed this one! Old back injury flared up this week. I’m hoping to be moving again in Monday!
