While in Huntsville, AL for a soccer tournament, 4 PAX decided to show the town a beatdown in the already warm and humid morning.

The Thang:
We met up at 7am, Mr McFeely was a little late, getting his daughter up to take to another room, but sent her back to his room instead when all other kids were still sleeping (if it was not for having to soccer games today she would have joined us).
We left the hotel and did a 1 mile loop as a slow run.
We found some shade then did the following, with everyone taking turns doing the count
10 wide merkins IC
10 LBC IC
10 merkins IC
10 LBC
5 narrow spaced merkins (more military style?)

Then another 1 mile run but as an Indian Run this time (we kept a slower pace).

Next, to end it, Rocker introduced to us a new exercise that is part burpee, part mountain climber, part merkin. You drop down and do the merkin like a burpee but instead of jumping back up, you pull in one knee and back out, then do another merkin, pull the other knee in and back out, do another merkin, pull in and rise (you don’t have to jump). The were OYO with most pax doing 5-7.

Then we did BOM and finished.

Moleskin:
– great job pulling this together Rocker!
– was also awesome hearing all the PAX take turns doing the In Cadence counts
– at one point Stopper decided to sprint (looked like about 50-100yards) with Cardiac to keep him from getting to the front of the Indian Run, but Stopper’s dad handled it well, though I think when he got to the front, we slowed down again
-McFeely’s ankle was holding up well so excited about posting more next week
– Rocker and Cardiac want to do it again on Sunday and might have 2 more dads join us. Might try to do better and get some warmups and Mary into Sunday’s workout
