Battle for the Crown

5 men posted at the Tradition cruise this morning. We learnt some things, we ran some miles, we laughed, we lived!
We started out with a 4.9mile run which included the King Tiger 5K.
When we finished there was a one mile option/challenge. Only 3 beasts took on the challenge. 2 walked away….defeated before they began…..the “Old Glory Mile” has become something of a competition lately. About 9 of the fastest men on the Strava segment leaderboard are F3 men. We took it on again this morning. Man Down retained his crown. Yet Farm only missed it by 6 seconds and that was AFTER running 5 miles!

Pretty accurate! One of the runners even honked at the beasts as he drove by defeated.
Lol! Defeated was a poor choice of words I admit. But in my defense those words were aimed at FJ 😉

Today was the perfect example of peer pressure at its finest. I did it to @Hot Wheels last week who said he was going to do the five mile option (he did 6). We did 6 this morning and, as always, I don’t regret the extra mileage. I did not plan on competing for the crown but ended up doing it anyway… #ISI

Peer pressure is best resisted especially from evil rabbits!
5 miles and THEN the Tradition Mile? That’s hard core. My crown will not last long…but it feels good right now!
