People’s Q to keep back the rain

All All MECA Backblasts

April 22nd, 2016 By King Louie

4 men wandered out into a circle of confusion this morning, wondering who or where the Q was. Upon confirming none of us were lead, Conchito took us on a mosey around the church and back to our bells for a quick warm-o-rama involving SSH, the Windmill, arm circles, Michael Phelps, Merkins, and maybe one or two more.

On to our people’s Q where the Pax suggested exercises such as curls, chest presses, merkins, lunges, squat presses, sumo squats, clean and press, lawn mower pulls, figure 8’s, tricep extentions, obliques….. and probably a few more. Our final KB exercise was

Midway through the beat down, Royal decided to turn it in to a Royal Pain / Royal Beat Down if you will…. And decided Shawshank’s 15 chest presses weren’t good enough. This ended up with us doing chest press x 15, merkin x 15, chest press x 14, merkin x 14, and so on down until x 1.

Mary consisted of mason twist with or without kb lead by Royal, Dying cockroach IC lead by myself, followed by low flutter and low flutter isolated lead by Conchitto, and The Squirm on your own suggested by Shawshank.

The Moleskin?
Looks like we were gifted with dryness as it started raining as soon as I got back to my house. The floodgates were REALLY opened as I headed to work. I got on 485 and it rained so hard that it looked like night for about five minutes.

Shawshank informed me that he is Prince’s biggest fan, in response to my complaints on facebook about people claiming they always loved various artists as their #1 musician the moment they die….despite having never spoken about that artist in years.

We learned this morning of Royal’s magical kettlebell. I called it 25, he said that was too low and it was 30 or 35. Soon after it became 50. And on the way to the box it was 75lbs. I believe we have a new weight for Coyote now.
