7 men emerged from their fartsacks this morning to knock out some miles. 5 of us, myself included, were ready to go at 5:30am. The problem was, our Q was missing?? Someone points out that @Trail Mix has been running late ever since @Gentle Grizzly became his roommate. Perhaps they’re both on @Gentle Grizzly time??? Around 5:31am, @Trail Mix and @Gentle Grizzly pull into the parking lot, @Trail Mix hops out and explains the route, reminds the rabbits (@Ajax) to turn back for the six, and we are off!

The route:

Left out of Stonebridge Parking lot, right on David Taylor, left on Senator Royal (AYG), left on Mallard Creek Church and straight shot back to Tradition. We got between 4.7 – 5.6 miles in this morning.

Moleskin:

A few people pointed out that I take a lot of steps when running. Have you seen how short my legs are?!

Senator Royal sucks! For those with Strava, this is a segment called “Senator Royal Pain in the A$$). These segments are a great way to compare your current run to your other runs or see how you stack up to others. For example, a certain wild Australian dog informed me a few days ago that he had the best time out of a few of us that have run that segment this year. That motivated me to try to take it from him this morning.

@Ribshack, it’s amazing how fast you can sprint. #strong

@Gazebo, if getting your new race jersey/shirt wet ruins it, then how are you going to wash it?

@Gazebo, you aren’t allowed to give men a hard time about being late if you’re in the fartsack while they are posting!

@Ajax, I enjoyed the 2nd F. Every time I run with you I run faster.

@GG, get your watch fixed brother! We almost had to do TGM this morning to wait for you.

@Hotwheels, I can’t wait for those Flash Mob 5ks to start up again. 55 and fast! We can all learn something from you.
