Feel the Burn

Seven Men meet this morning on a brisk Spring day for a kettlebell beatdown. YHC pulled out an old workout last night, tweaked it a tad and went to bed with a great plan to lead said workout. Soon the alarm went off, snooze, alarm, snooze, alarm, snooze, alarm. OMG! It’s 5:10 and YHC is still in bed. Out the door by 5:22 and to Tradition at 5:29. Welcomed by pax ready to rumble. thanks for joining me men in a workout focused on strength building with little mumble chatter except @Magma correcting my various senior moment misdirections. Thank you @magma! We also had a visit from @Man down who sprinted through our group as he was out running. We focussed on legs in set 1 and upper body in set 2. Feel the burn…

Maximus-great beatdown today! My whole body is feeling it after that.
Good work out, I see you’re still loving the reverse lunges @Maximus. Few others ever put them in the exercise, while I believe you put them in every time. Making up fthe others not doing it!
And I always appreciate doing the clean and press. It’s one of those I’ll always suggest in a People’s Q. Because they suck.
Glad you are feeling @magma. Keep me on my toes too.
@king Louie – you may have noticed I like leg work – too often neglected and my legs need more strength. Never understand why backward lunges aren’t used more – i find them tougher than forward lunges. Needs more balance I think. Glad you liked the clean and press. I like it too.
The lunge is one of the exercises I often would recommend in People’s Q as well since it seems to be the one that ends up hurting the most of the usual leg ones.
