Today’s pain was brought to the pax by the numbers 3:16, 3:17, 3:18, and 8:1-8. In light of the Easter season we must remember:

• John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
• John 3:17 – “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
• John 3:18 – “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”
• Romans 8:1-8 – “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ² For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. ³ For God has done what the law,weakened by the flesh, could not do.
