Millstream hill repeats #toosoon?

All All MECA Backblasts

February 24th, 2016 By Skipper

YHC checked Sign-up Genius yesterday and of course no one volunteered to Q #HighlandCruise because everyone knows #TheNannywilldoit

Well, @TheNanny shouldn’t have to do it and when 14 men voluntarily post for a wet and chilly Wed monrning run then its obvious that we should be covered for new Qs for at least 3 months. #call4Qs #doit

And just to entice the pax into coming up with some different routes, lets go hit one of our most infamous, #MillstreamHillRepeats

So, we were off…13 were counted prior to launch, but only 12 made it to the end of the parking lot?  Where’s that clean shaven guy with the vest and blinky lights?  Oh well, he knows the route better than most so I’m sure he’ll catch up…and a few minutes later he did with @WildTurkey in tow.

Let the fast guys go the long way (HC Pkwy to Christenbury), offend @Chopper by calling him slow and telling him to take the short cut down Bells Mill and through Christenbury Park Pool #yesitsshorter

Run the Millstream Hills a few times (some more than others).  Announce 0600 time hack and return to HCES.

The Wet Moleskin:

  1. Excellent showing for guaranteed rain and chilly conditions! #expected5paxtotal
  2. Great to meet @TerribleTowel and welcome him to the #Cruise!
  3. Do you have the F3 App?  Why not?  When you sign up for it, make sure to add contact info #Choppersays
  4. Read the daily e-mails for upcoming events, like 2-year anniversary of #F3Tradition! #twoyearssince@dingoexile

Matthew 20:26-28 “But it shall not be so among you. Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant; whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave. Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Ahoy!

  1. Thanks for posting today, men! Ahoy!

  2. Turns out 52 and rainy feels more like 42. That was not a pleasant run, but glad it is behind me. @Skipper Thanks for the lead and the BB!

Love Strava BTW. It tells me that I was SLOW today. 6th slowest out of 7 times I’ve done that course. Shows you the benefit of using that course for BRR training. Can only get faster from here.
