It was raining, but warm – 58degrees.  But still raining.  As I sat in my truck in the parking lot, I was confident no one would show and I could go back and snuggle with my M in a nice warm bed!  And you never know where snuggling will lead!  So I was in a happy place!  No one had showed and the prospect of post snuggling activities floating through my mind!  My daydreaming was abruptly disrupted by  Ribshack pulling in at 5:27…..Followed by Jelly, BuckWheat & Skyline.  Damn F3…..

Oh well, off we go!

5 of us started to warm up, then Gazebo joined us.

  1. SSH x 15
  2. IST x 15
  3. CP x 15

Guinness & Basing arrived at this point! and we were 8 strong!

THE VERN!

SO YHC had spent a few minutes yesterday measuring out areas of the AO so we could do the Vern today.  Unfortunately, YHC did not take rain into account.  So in my post daydream confusion I modified the Vern to keep us somewhat  dry, the modification may not have been accurate.

  1. Run .75mile
  2. 10 Burpees(No pull up bars available)
  3. run 200 yards(Ended up being 400 yards….Q-Fail)
  4. 15 Merkins
  5. run 400 yards
  6. 20 Dips
  7. run 400 yards
  8. 25 LBC
  9. run 400 yards
  10. Repeat x 5

So big Q-Fail here on the distance……No way we were getting through 5 rounds.  Most of us did 2 full rounds and YHC was greatly annoyed by his mistake on distance, so we stopped at 6:00

    I enjoyed it this morning. When I heard the rain I was really tempted to go back to bed, but I knew I needed to start the week right. It was great to see 8 F3 men come together at Tradition in the rain.

    Thank you all for being there, without each other we would’ve all stayed in the fartsack !!! Good lead Dingo and good job Bazinga and Skyline, way to post and push yourselves!!!

    Well, there is a difference between a Vuun & Vern! Maybe that was the issue @Dingo?

    Regardless, it was all good. I really like how everyone showed because we knew someone else would be there & we had to go because of them. It’s part of what makes F3 so cool……… all except Senator Jelly I see….(show to know)

      I would like to make it very clear that it was @Ribshack who referred to me as “Senator Jelly.” That was pretty funny.

    I showed up at the Valley. There was one car there. It was @Bazinga. So, we drove over to Tradition. I realized later that it was Murph Monday and I saw the email from @Dingo. The rain was okay – at least it wasn’t bloomin cold. Great to see the pax turnout. Ain’t no rain, hail or snow going to hold me back this year. Let’s not talk about the past – that’s when I realized 10 below was warm in F3 world.
