1 pax posted at HCES to keep the #EternalFlame burning at Highland Speed.  I can only assume the rest of the pax was in line at Walmart bagging some crazy black Friday deals.

The Thang:

1. Well….nobody is around…let’s do some speed.  Hey self, how about a tempo run that verges on race pace?  Cool!  Let’s do it!
2. Mile 1: 7:50.
3. Miles 2 – 5: Faster.
4. 5.0 miles @ AVG 7:00.

The Naked Moleskin:

1. I kind of made an informal pact with myself that whenever I post solo at Speed I will do a really fast session to make sure I have not lost it.  When I showed up this morning to an empty lot….and hung around till 5:34 waiting for more guys to show….I was not looking forward to a really tough run.  Key is to just put the right foot in front of the left and see what happens.  Had a great morning of solitude.  Chance to think.  Chance to pray.  Chance to breath hard.  Chance to be thankful.  #GreatMorning
