MIP-Stuff the truck Pre-blast…revenge of the giblets

All CSAUP Backblasts

November 11th, 2015 By Marv

If you haven’t heard this by now, then where have you been?  Between the preblast, almost spam-like trolling of other workouts, and my ceaseless announcements you should know YHC means business. I mean there was even a WKRP in Cincinnati TV show reference (which I may have been too young to remember, or watch).  However, if you didn’t read the original post, you can here, or scroll down for the Cliffnotes, with extra detail version.  Here’s how the day will work, or how you can help if you can’t make it, though really option 1 should be you best choice.
Option 1: Post!  Show up, with a frozen turkey in hand.  YHC will be at Charlotte Rescue Mission by 8am, to meet, greet, drink coffee with you and collect turkeys.  Deer Tick and YHC will co-Q the 9-9:45 workout, with two options for those so inclined.  RECOMMENDATION: CITY TRAFFIC WILL BE HIGH, I RECOMMEND TAKING 77 or 277 to Freedom Drive (think Pinky’s Roadside Grill or the Dunkin Donuts on Freedom) then make a right on Freedom to W. Morehead, and a left on S. Cedar St., and then left onto W. 1st Street.)

Option 2 (you can’t make it): Post your normal Saturday workout:
a) YHC will pick up Turkeys from the Worm, AG and Mustang Groups.  (I’m a HC for the Worm, so my #matchboxcar will be at AG as early as 6am…so no excuse).
b) Carrier will be out at Indy collecting, and Deer Tick will be posting at Cherokee.
c) sorry no takers at Latta, but would be happy for gentlemen to double-down, or have a rep.

Option 3 (You’re doing a #CSAUP… Thunder Road, Spartan Beast, or are just DR)
a) Find a drop off spot on Saturday.  Again some were mentioned above, but Rev’s truck will be out at the Dowd YMCA by 6:30.  Drop it in his truck, as you head to your warm-up.
b) DM on twitter @BetheOso, or email EDeGorter@gmail.com  YHC would be happy to pick it up #customerservice Friday night at a place of your choosing.
c) Find Rev Flo-rida @Bastion on Thursday or @Attila on Friday.  He will transport for you.
d) Drop it off yourself at 907 W 1st St. Charlotte, NC 28202:  CRM will accept Turkeys on Sunday between 11:30 and 1.  They will also accept drop offs during business hours (which are 8am to 5pm).
PS  Best of luck in those events…as someone once told me, “you’ve trained, pushed and worked hard, now show up and show everyone your effort.”

See you in the gloom and at MIP>
