COT:

Announcements: Remember The Precinct’s One Year Anniversary – All workouts will converge tomorrow Wednesday at Wellington Clubhouse.

Prayer Request:  Guinness’ brother, Alan, dealing with MS diagnosis.

Moleskin:

Watching the Panthers eke out a win in overtime was great and allowed me to give a score update to the pax.  However, I paid for it – I would have preferred the extra sleep, in retrospect.  It was a great Panther win but it was an even better win being in the gloom for a beatdown.  I was expecting heavy rain so the rainless beatdown was a pleasant surprise.

See you pax at the Precinct Anniversary Beatdown tomorrow for what Striker and the pax have in store.

  1. Thanks for the help with counting this morning when we started off, @Forgotten Jelly.

  2. Thanks for braving the elements this morning, Pax. Your presence makes a difference.

  3. Now that’s what I call prompt back blast posting!! Good job on all fronts Guinness and the rest of you for posting!

    1. Dingo, speaking of timely back blasts. After the smack talk on the bus back from the Mud Run and then this… it’s really hard not pointing out that there still is no back blast posted from LAST Monday at The Valley. So… I guess now I’ve pointed it out.

      1. That’s weird?? I did the backblast……??

        1. Didn’t hit “publish”…..good thing the site auto saves 🙂

  4. Thanks Dingo. Where were you? Are you on SR (sick reserve), not to be confused with IR?

    1. Yeah, I gotta give my body a chance to get over this cough. Posting yesterday in the pouring rain may not have been my smartest choice

  5. I have always had the tendency to shake it off or grit through it whether it was an illness or injury. In the past few years I have learned to listen to my body because by not listening I have damaged it more. When I was younger I would heal faster and bounce back immediately. For example, I could have done the Mudrun and finished it but I did not want to run the risk of damaging my hamstring further and being out of commission for 6 weeks. I am in it for the metaphorical marathon not the sprint. Although, when you are younger you can be in it for the sprint and marathon. I hope you recover speedily, Dingo.

  6. Nice job this morning Guinness. I have to say, how you started off with your counting was hilarious. I couldn’t stop laughing. Then when both Triple Threat and I got confused with when to end an exercise because of the change in your voice, that made it even better. And that was just in the warm-up. Thankfully you kept us moving enough after that, but what a way to start a workout.

Nice partnering up with you @innkeeper. I realized once we started the partner exercises that we were both laughing about different noises. Glad I wasn’t alone.

@Guinness, you forgot to mention that @Triple Threat was a beast at the end with the cinder blocks. Carried one in each hand over his head. That was impressive brother.

  7. Sorry I forgot to help you with your $5 wal-mart watch @Innkeeper. I think the goal should be on how to teach you to do other things besides just turn on the light. Changing the time and turning off the alarm could prove to be beneficial in the future.

  8. @Forgotten Jelly, I was still waking up and spacing as we started. I was glad to bring the humor, even with the voice inflection. Impressive lifting those blocks @Tripple Threat.
